About the role

We’re Fiserv, a global leader in Fintech and payments. The Director of Relationship Management & Business Development supports the Accel Network, STAR Network, and MoneyPass Network for debit payment merchant and acquiring growth. This role involves developing and enhancing executive client relationships, collaborating with various teams to drive business growth, and sharing industry insights with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance executive client relationships with key clients
  • Collaborate with various teams to drive business growth
  • Create and implement strategic plans for long and short-term objectives
  • Share market insights with key clients and act as the escalation path for issue resolution
  • Generate and analyze business review data on a regular basis
  • Aid merchants with improved authorization rates
  • Submit and manage project requests to ensure completion within defined SLAs
  • Work closely with the processor relations team supporting merchants and acquirers on a daily basis

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in managing large accounts with a focus on net new and add-on sales commitments and client retention, preferably in mid to large merchant environments
  • 5+ years of experience in the debit payments industry
  • Strong financial and data analysis skills
  • Ability to travel nationally up to 50% to client sites

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or additional certifications in relevant fields
  • Experience in negotiating complex contracts and pricing models
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales tools for effective client management

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

The starting salary range for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This role is on-site Monday through Friday in Milwaukee, WI or Alpharetta, GA. In-person collaboration is essential for this role.
