Job Summary

About the Role
The Director of Rehabilitation will oversee the therapeutic services provided at the facility, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to regulatory standards. This role requires a strong background in therapy management and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the therapy department, including staff supervision and scheduling
- Develop and implement treatment plans that meet patient needs and goals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
- Evaluate and improve departmental processes to enhance efficiency and quality
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to therapy staff
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff
Requirements
- Possess and maintain a current license in the state of practice (Physical Therapy / Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapy / Occupational Therapy Assistant, or Speech-Language Pathology)
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a treating therapist or therapy assistant; minimum 3 years of experience preferred
- Minimum 1 year of therapy management experience
- Currently Credentialed Documentation Auditor (CDA) or able to obtain certification within six months
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field
- Proven leadership skills and experience in therapy management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance procedures
