Job Summary

Aegis Therapies, a leading provider of rehabilitation and wellness services, is seeking a Director of Rehabilitation to lead their therapy department at Kin On Health Care Center in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will inspire their team and make a meaningful impact.

About the Role

The Director of Rehabilitation will oversee the therapeutic services provided at the facility, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to regulatory standards. This role requires a strong background in therapy management and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the therapy department, including staff supervision and scheduling
• Develop and implement treatment plans that meet patient needs and goals
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
• Evaluate and improve departmental processes to enhance efficiency and quality
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to therapy staff
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff

Requirements

• Possess and maintain a current license in the state of practice (Physical Therapy / Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapy / Occupational Therapy Assistant, or Speech-Language Pathology)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a treating therapist or therapy assistant; minimum 3 years of experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of therapy management experience
• Currently Credentialed Documentation Auditor (CDA) or able to obtain certification within six months

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field
• Proven leadership skills and experience in therapy management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance procedures
