Director of Rehab (DOR)

About the role

Powerback is seeking a full-time Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead a team of clinicians across physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory therapies. This role oversees all rehab services in your facility, provides direct patient care, and ensures the highest standards of rehabilitation services. You will support, grow, and mentor your clinical team while addressing patient needs and making referrals as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all rehabilitation services in your facility
• Support your team by providing direct patient care
• Ensure the highest standards of rehabilitation services
• Grow and mentor your clinical team in the design, implementation, and execution of programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance patient abilities
• Address patient needs and make referrals to help patients get the care they need
• Support therapists and assistants in program development and delivery
• Adapt to the needs of your team and patients across varied work settings

Qualifications

• Degree in a rehabilitation discipline (PT, OT, SLP, PTA, COTA) required
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice
• Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third party billing required
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to make independent decisions and problem solve appropriately
• Thorough knowledge of all state practice acts
• Ability to positively interact with personnel, patients, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
• Ability to effectively manage and motivate staff

Pay

USD $70,000.00 - USD $110,000.00 /Yr., with a $7,500.00 sign-on bonus.
