Director of Rehab (DOR)

Responsibilities

As a Director of Rehabilitation, you are leading a team of compassionate clinicians who help patients get well. You and your team are bringing power back to the patients you serve. In doing this, you will:

• Oversee all rehab services in your facility
• Support your team by providing direct patient care
• Ensure the highest standards of rehabilitation services
• Be a teacher, a healer, and a helper
• Collaborate with your team and make referrals when necessary
• Grow and mentor your clinical team
• Design, implement, and execute programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance patient abilities
• Find joy in the variety of the work and the settings
• Put patients first while supporting your clinical team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a rehabilitation discipline (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology) required; Master's degree preferred
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice
• Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third party billing required
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Able to make independent decisions and problem solve appropriately
• Thorough knowledge of all state practice acts
• Able to positively interact with personnel, patients, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public
• Able to effectively manage/motivate staff

Pay

USD $70,720.00 - USD $114,400.00 /Yr.
