Director of Recreation and Activities

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Director of Recreation and Activities to join our team at Gurwin Jewish : Fay J. Lindner Residences, a luxurious and elegant assisted living community on Long Island.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement recreational programs and activities that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents
• Collaborate with internal departments, including Dining, Wellness, and Social Services, to ensure a holistic approach to resident care
• Manage and coordinate recreational staff and contractors to ensure seamless program delivery
• Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and vendors to enhance programming and services
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure high-quality services
• Comply with all organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
