Director of Racing
for section headings. Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use
for prose. Remove boilerplate: EEO, legal, etc. Also remove duplicated lines. Also remove navigation, cookie, etc. Also remove "Work With Us" etc. Also remove "Already Work Here? Here's a Link To Apply Internally Employee Login". Also remove "Nearest Major Market: Salisbury". Also remove "Ocean Downs Casino" repeated? Keep description.
We need to preserve all substantive information. So include:
- About Ocean Downs Casino (maybe as About the role? Actually heading "About the role"? The instruction: use
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we should map content to those headings. "About Ocean Downs Casino" could be under "About the role"? Or maybe we can use "About the role" heading and put description there. But we also have Job Summary separate. Could combine? Better to follow typical sections: About the role (description of company and role), Responsibilities (essential duties), Requirements (education/experience), Skills (required skills), Pay, Schedule. Also maybe Qualifications? Could combine Education/Experience under Requirements. Use Skills for Required Skills And Abilities. Use Pay for Pay Range. Use Schedule for flexible schedule.
We must not create sections with filler. So we need to ensure each heading has substantive content.
Let's extract:
About the role: Could include "About Ocean Downs Casino" description plus maybe Job Summary? The Job Summary: "Exciting opportunity to work at Ocean Downs Casino Racetrack only 10 minutes from the beaches and boardwalk of Ocean City, MD! This is a seasonal role at our historic racetrack! If you possess the desire to work for a great company, then we would love to have you! The Director of Racing is responsible for overseeing all racing operations at Ocean Downs, ensuring efficient day-to-day racetrack operations, regulatory compliance, and exceptional guest experiences. This leadership role develops and implements racing strategies, manages departmental performance, directs staff, fosters positive community and industry relationships, and ensures compliance with all company policies, internal controls, and Maryland Racing Commission regulations. The Director of Racing works closely with senior leadership to achieve business objectives while promoting a safe, successful, and customer-focused racing environment."
We can combine that into About the role.
Responsibilities: Essential Duties And Responsibilities list. We'll make - each duty.
Requirements: Education And Experience: "Bachelor Degree Preferred Ten (10) Years in Racing management; Strong knowledge of horse racing/simulcast industry."
Skills: Required Skills And Abilities list.
Pay: Pay Range: $115,000 - $125,000.
Schedule: Physical Requirements & Working Conditions includes schedule info: "Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes days, evenings, weekends and holidays." Also physical requirements: walk/stand extended periods. Could include both under Schedule? Might be better to have Schedule section for schedule info, and maybe Physical Requirements could be part of Requirements? But we already have Requirements for education/experience. Could add a separate section for Physical Requirements? Not in allowed headings list but we could still use
for any heading; the instruction gave examples but not exclusive. However they said "use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." So we can use those headings; we could also add other headings if needed but better to stick to those. Physical requirements could go under Requirements or maybe under Schedule? Probably better to include under Requirements as part of job requirements. But we already used Requirements for education/experience; we could expand Requirements to include both education/experience and physical requirements. Or we could create a separate "Qualifications" heading for physical requirements. But Qualifications is in examples. Let's use Qualifications for physical requirements and maybe also for education/experience? Actually Education And Experience is more like Requirements. Qualifications could be skills? Hmm.
We could do:
- About the role (company + job summary)
- Responsibilities (essential duties)
- Requirements (education & experience)
- Skills (required skills and abilities)
- Qualifications (physical requirements & working conditions)
- Pay
- Schedule
But we have both Qualifications and Schedule; schedule info is in working conditions. Could combine physical requirements and schedule under Qualifications? But schedule is separate heading example. Let's keep Schedule for schedule info, and Qualifications for physical requirements.
Thus:
About the role: includes About Ocean Downs Casino + Job Summary.
Responsibilities: list of duties.
Requirements: Education And Experience.
Skills: Required Skills And Abilities.
Qualifications: Physical Requirements & Working Conditions (walk/stand, flexible schedule? Actually schedule is separate; we can put walk/stand under Qualifications, and schedule under Schedule.)

Schedule: flexible schedule info.
Now we need to ensure we don't repeat content. Let's extract each piece.
