Base Salary: $150,000 – $180,000 (commensurate with experience).

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Portfolio Scaling: Lead and optimize operational strategies to support the organic expansion of our multi-family portfolio from 4,000 to 7,000 units.
- AppFolio Data Integration: Leverage property management data within AppFolio from the ground up to build out scalable operational workflows.
- Smart Maintenance Implementation: Set up intelligent systems—utilizing AppFolio Realm-X (specifically the Native Maintenance Performer framework) and the Lula Vendor Network—to analyze tenant communications 24/7, drive first-trip resolution with vendors, and control maintenance expense ratios.
- Automated Fraud Prevention: Integrate cutting-edge screening tools including Snappt, CheckpointID (for AI metadata verification on paystubs/bank documents), and Funnel Leasing / MRI Screening to pull direct payroll and banking data natively, eliminate sophisticated income fraud, and accurately model lease-default risk before an application is approved.
- Autonomous Accounts Payable: Deploy automated accounting agents—including PredictAP (for proprietary AI line-item invoice coding and active work order ingestion), Factura.ai, and AvidXchange—to ingest, code, and audit invoices against active work orders natively, allowing the portfolio to expand significantly without a linear increase in manual AP headcount.
- Leasing & Front-Office Automation: Deploy conversational, multilingual bots such as AppFolio Realm-X Leasing Performer and MeetElise (EliseAI) for omnichannel auto-scheduling to instantly engage, pre-qualify, and schedule leasing leads 24/7 during off-hours, maximizing high-intent tenant traffic without burdening on-site teams.
- Executive Collaboration: Work directly with the Chief Operating Officer to bridge the gap between high-level company vision and daily ground-level execution.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 5–7+ years of progressive property management leadership experience, operating at a Senior Regional Manager or Director level, supervising mid-to-large multi-family portfolios.
Tech-Forward Aptitude: Deep, hands-on experience within the AppFolio ecosystem, with a proven capability or direct experience rolling out and screening for core real estate AI frameworks (Realm-X, Snappt, PredictAP, MeetElise, etc.) to optimize workflows.
Scale Capability: Proven track record of managing, organizing, and optimizing a multi-family portfolio through periods of company growth.
Leadership Style: A hands-on leader who thrives in a collaborative, nimble, mid-sized family office environment.
