Director of Product Management, Hyperforce

The Hyperforce team is seeking a Product Management leader with a strong builder mindset to develop an AI-first compute infrastructure platform.
About the role
The role requires technical expertise in infrastructure and platform-as-a-service (IaaS/PaaS), API management, and a passion for delivering rich user experiences. You will focus on building platform technologies for high-availability and scale, driving innovation at the infrastructure and platform level.
Responsibilities
- Develop vision, strategy, and multi-release roadmap for the compute infrastructure platform with emphasis on AI and data workloads.
- Own improving platform maturity for new AI and data application patterns across critical platform capabilities such as availability and scalability.
- Innovate at the infrastructure and platform level by deeply understanding user needs and product fit while leveraging knowledge of IaaS/PaaS and open-source technologies.
- Partner with Salesforce product clouds to ensure all services are available on Hyperforce, including gap analysis on requirements.
- Engage with customers and partners to deliver roadmap updates, gather product feedback, and identify additional challenges and opportunities.
- Represent Salesforce as a domain and product expert at customer interactions, industry and corporate events, and through community sites and social media.
Requirements
- 12+ years of Product Management, Solution Architect, or similar experience.
- Specialization in user-facing products, enterprise-scale IaaS/PaaS platforms, high-availability architecture, application networking, and API management.
- Proficiency and growth mindset in leveraging data analytics tools (e.g., SQL) and applying AI tools (e.g., Claude Code) to build product prototypes.
- Passion for creating seamless user experiences through value-chain and user journey mapping.
- Demonstrated experience in building product prototypes, writing strategy, and translating customer needs into product capabilities.
- Direct experience working with and leveraging AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure services.
- A technical degree, preferably in Software Engineering.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes and Service Mesh.
- Background in applying AI and AIOps to develop strategic platform capabilities.

Pay
The typical base salary range for this position is $197,300 - $313,700 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan areas, the base salary range is $237,700 - $344,700 annually. The range represents base salary only and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity, or benefits.
