Overview

Responsibilities
- Own the 1-to-3-year product strategy and roadmap across multiple product categories
- Define category-level product strategy in partnership with Brand and Executive leadership, translating brand and consumer direction into product roadmaps and portfolio plans
- Build, lead, and develop a team of Product Managers, including hiring, coaching, and performance management
- Set clear expectations, processes, and standards for product definition and lifecycle management
- Lead category and portfolio level product planning, prioritization, and investment decisions
- Partner with Brand leadership to align multi-generational brand plans with category level product strategy
- Ensure product teams leverage insights from Consumer Insights and Brand teams, supplemented by market and competitive research, to develop clear, durable product definitions
- Act as a senior category and portfolio expert, monitoring trends, white space, and competitive dynamics
- Lead semiannual portfolio and roadmap reviews with senior leadership
- Partner with Engineering and Operations leadership to ensure products meet cost, quality, schedule, and regulatory goals at scale
- Incorporate in market performance, financial results, and learnings into future portfolio strategy
- Ensure product decisions remain aligned with user needs, long term portfolio health, and company strategy
- Present category strategy, portfolio performance, and key investment decisions to Executive Leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Management, Industrial Design, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 5 to 10+ years of relevant product management experience in hardgoods, performance gear, outdoor products, or consumer durable goods
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing product management teams
- Demonstrated success building and executing multi category roadmaps and portfolio strategies
- Deep understanding of hardgoods construction, materials such as metals, polymers, and composites, component systems, and end to end development processes
- Strong financial acumen including assortment planning, margin modeling, and portfolio performance analysis
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across functions without direct authority
- Experience working with global manufacturing partners and managing overseas vendor relationships
- Proficiency in Excel, PLM systems such as Centric, Flex, or NGC, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Passion for innovative gear, performance driven products, and building meaningful consumer experiences at scale

Schedule
This is a fully in-office position at our HQ in Lehi, Utah.
Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
