About the role
This role supports PAMF's fundraising programs, focusing on individual donor cultivation. The annual fundraising goal is $1.5M - $3M+. The Director leads, directs, coordinates, and executes philanthropy strategies, aligning with Sutter Health's goals.
Responsibilities
- Supports PAMF's fundraising programs, with a focus on individual donor cultivation.
- Develops and maintains relationships with key stakeholders including Board of Directors, CEOs, Corporate Partners, and Physician Leaders.
- Represents Sutter Health in the community through various activities, ensuring accurate understanding and execution of the Foundation's mission and programs.
- Serves as a catalyst for community collaboration by developing the Foundation as a resource for improving the health of residents.
- Learns and applies comprehensive knowledge of fundraising approaches, particularly capital campaigns, principal and major gifts, and planned giving.
- Develops and implements strategic plans, manages donor acquisition, and engages stakeholders.
- Communicates effectively with management and employees, demonstrating leadership presence and the ability to motivate and engage others.
- Delegates effectively, managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Requirements
- Equivalent experience in lieu of a required degree or diploma in Business Administration, Healthcare, or related fields.
- 12 years recent relevant experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of fundraising approaches, with expertise in capital campaigns, principal and major gifts, and planned giving.
- Familiarity with cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individual and institutional prospects and donors.
- Experience developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including Board of Directors, CEOs, Corporate Partners, and Physician Leaders.
- Demonstrated skills and knowledge in strategic planning, hospital fundraising, donor acquisition, and donor and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to convey concepts clearly and motivate others.
- Credible leadership presence, responding to questions with logic, clarity, calmness, and authority.
- Ability to delegate effectively, managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field.

Pay
- $157,830.40 to $236,745.60 / annual salary
- The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled.
- Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
- Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program.
