About the role

The Director of Pharmacy Services at Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health (TCBH) in Tulsa, OK will manage a pharmacy dispensing a large variety of medications and medical supplies to multiple facilities while maintaining accreditation standards (TJC, CIHQ, etc.). TCBH is an accredited 56-bed acute care psychiatric hospital specializing in serving individuals experiencing mental health crises, with or without substance abuse, who are medically stable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a pharmacy dispensing a large variety of medications and medical supplies to multiple facilities while maintaining accreditation standards (TJC, CIHQ, etc.)
  • Oversee the implementation and compliance with all relevant policies and procedures
  • Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations related to pharmacy operations
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and medication management
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local pharmacies and suppliers to ensure a steady supply of medications
  • Provide leadership and guidance to pharmacy staff to ensure quality patient care
  • Lead the transition into the new 140,000 square foot, 106-bed hospital, slated for completion in 2026

Requirements

  • Possession of a valid license to practice pharmacy in the State of Oklahoma, plus four years of experience as a pharmacist, including three (3) years in a supervisory or administrative capacity
  • Willingness and ability to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Current license to practice pharmacy in the State of Oklahoma
  • Experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity
