About the role

As a key member of the Executive Management Team, you will provide strategic leadership to ensure our workforce is skilled, motivated and supported to deliver high-quality, person-centred care for the Shetland community. You will play a pivotal role in shaping organisational culture, delivering workforce transformation, and ensuring strong staff governance and partnership working is in place across the Board.

Responsibilities

- Provide strategic leadership to the workforce to ensure high-quality, person-centred care. - Shape organisational culture and drive workforce transformation. - Ensure strong staff governance and partnership working across the Board. - Support the organisation in navigating strategic changes like Public Sector Reform. - Maintain operational tempo and focus to achieve strategic objectives.

Requirements

- Experience in delivering strategic workforce and cultural change. - Strong track record of success in similar roles. - Values-driven leader with a compassionate and inclusive leadership style. - Ability to balance competing priorities and maintain focus on operational tempo.

Qualifications

- Relevant degree or equivalent professional qualifications. - Proven experience in a senior management position. - Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.

Benefits

- Distant Island Allowance of £2,578 per annum. - Relocation Assistance of up to £8,000 available.

Pay

Salary Range: Band 9 - £127,521 - £133,044
