Director of Partnerships and Community Outreach, Alpha - $200,000/year USD
About the role
The families who select Alpha rely on trusted advisors across every dimension of their lives. This role fills the gap they didn't know existed. You will become the person they reach out to when uncertainty arises, when instincts signal concern, or when they want to share milestones with someone who truly comprehends. You'll develop familiarity with each family deep enough to anticipate needs before articulation—and you'll possess the judgment and composure to address what they present with discretion, genuine care, and seamless execution.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of relationships with every family on campus—the sustained, evolving connection that ensures parents feel truly understood, not merely accommodated
- Identify potential concerns proactively and address them with the discretion and interpersonal skill that preserves confidence
- Maintain consistent visibility in family spaces: morning arrival (7–9am), afternoon departure (2–4pm), evening parent gatherings, and select weekend programming
- Cultivate a campus community with authentic depth—creating events, rituals, and engagement points that foster a sense of belonging families want to safeguard
- Encourage parent advocacy naturally, delivering experiences of such consistent quality that referrals emerge as an organic byproduct
- Sustain the ongoing dialogue about Alpha's AI-enabled model with families managing screen time questions, skeptical relatives, and periodic uncertainty—extending well beyond initial enrollment into daily campus life
- Recognize when a family alignment isn't optimal and manage that reality with the same poise you apply universally—preserving community integrity is central to your service
- Establish the operational rhythms and frameworks this role demands within an environment where standard practices are still being developed
Requirements
- Current residence within commuting range of one of these campuses OR willingness to relocate within 60 days (candidates with established local community ties preferred): Denver, CO; Greenwich, CT; Boca Raton, FL; Tampa, FL; Boston, MA; Bethesda, MD; Charlotte, NC; Las Vegas, NV; Oklahoma City, OK; Tulsa, OK; Nashville, TN; Austin, TX; Dallas (Carrollton), TX; Fort Worth, TX; Houston (The Woodlands), TX; Park City, UT; Burlington, VT; Kirkland, WA; or Jackson Hole, WY
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship requirements
- Minimum 5 years in relationship-focused roles serving high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth clientele—contexts such as private school admissions, luxury hospitality, philanthropic organizations, or any setting where discretion, warmth, and social acuity matched technical competence in importance
- Proven capacity to maintain relationships through complex situations with sophisticated families while emerging with trust strengthened
- Authentic presence and communication approach that builds credibility rapidly with affluent, high-expectation families—genuine rather than rehearsed
- Direct familiarity with independent, private, or alternative education models—through professional experience or as a parent—that provides credible grounding when families challenge the approach
- Sincere conviction in AI-powered education and capacity to sustain that belief authentically across years of family partnerships, extending beyond enrollment discussions
- Flexibility for non-standard hours: early mornings (7–9am), late afternoons (2–4pm), evening programming 2–3 times monthly, and periodic weekend activities

- Established connections within the local affluent community providing immediate, organic credibility on campus
