About the Role
The Director of Organic Growth is accountable for achieving defined organic census and revenue growth targets across RHA's Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) services. This highly visible, market-facing role identifies, develops, and converts growth opportunities by building strategic relationships with referral sources, state agencies, managed care organizations, hospitals, school systems, and community partners. The Director serves as RHA's growth ambassador, proactively identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing service lines, increasing census, and strengthening RHA's presence in existing and emerging markets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an active pipeline of qualified organic growth opportunities sufficient to support established census and revenue targets.
- Generate and convert new referrals and expand existing referral relationships.
- Identify and advance opportunities for new homes, new programs, and service expansion.
- Cultivate and leverage relationships with State agencies, MCOs, and other community partners to generate qualified growth opportunities.
- Represent RHA throughout the IDD community.
- Partner with Operations, Admissions, Clinical, and other internal leaders to remove barriers to admission and ensure viable growth opportunities successfully convert to services.
Key Outcomes
- Meet or exceed established census and revenue growth targets.
- Build and expand relationships that generate qualified referrals and growth opportunities.
- Success is measured by census growth, new homes opened, referral conversion rate, and geographic expansion.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of program development and/or experience in Medicaid, SCHIP, Medicare, or managed health care.
- Minimum 2 years experience working with persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities required; 1-year experience if paired with Master's degree.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive experience within the intellectual and developmental disability space.
- Master's Degree preferred.

Pay
$65,000-$75,000, plus quarterly incentive.
