The Director of Operations oversees the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the Courtyard by Marriott Tysons Corner hotel. Key responsibilities include managing staff, ensuring compliance with hotel policies and industry standards, and driving operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to ensure guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
• Manage and develop a high-performing team of managers and associates.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and opportunities.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in hotel management, preferably in a similar role.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
• Strong understanding of hospitality industry trends and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Experience in budgeting, cost analysis, and financial management.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and front desk services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
