Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the nursing department to ensure the highest standards of resident care.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and procedures in compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
- Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to foster a positive and professional work environment.
- Collaborate with physicians, staff, residents, and families to promote effective communication and care planning.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care and clinical services.
- Monitor quality assurance, infection control, and risk management programs.
- Participate in survey readiness and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of Massachusetts (required).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing management experience in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- In-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations related to long-term care.
- Commitment to resident-centered care and team development.
