About the role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to lead our clinical team as the Director of Nursing, continuing our commitment to exceptional home health services. As the Director of Nursing, you will oversee the nursing staff and ensure that our patients receive the highest quality of care. You will lead clinical operations, implement best practices, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires a strong leader committed to fostering a supportive environment and enhancing patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the nursing department, including staffing, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure quality care and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and evaluate patient care plans
- Monitor patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives to reduce rehospitalizations
- Provide mentorship and support to nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development
- Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Ensure accurate documentation and maintain patient records using WellSky Kinnser EMR in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of home health care experience required, with at least 1 year in a leadership or management role
- Proficiency in WellSky Kinnser EMR preferred
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and quality assurance practices
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Supervising experience: Needed

Pay
$85,000 – $100,000 per annum
Schedule
Monday to Friday; weekends as needed
Expected Hours: 40–50 per week
