Director of Nursing (DON)

Carriage Square Rehab & Health Care Center is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to work alongside our management team, leading clinical staff to professionally support patients with kindness and true patient care. Make an impact on patient care while loving where you work!

Responsibilities

• Direct, oversee, and evaluate nursing personnel (RNs, LPNs, etc.)
• Set objectives and long-term goals for the nursing department
• Develop and enforce policies for legal compliance and quality standards
• Control budgets and monitor expenditures
• Resolve issues and deficiencies as needed
• Manage record-keeping procedures

Requirements

• RN (Registered Nurse) license in the state of Missouri
• Knowledge of legal regulations and healthcare best practices
• Ability to lead and develop personnel
• Strong communication and people skills
• Organizational and stress management skills
• Problem-solving aptitude
