Director of Nursing (DON)

The Director of Nursing (DON) position at Patriot is seeking a licensed DON who is resident & family focused, a team builder, and excited about building and leading a high-performing team and culture.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the clinical management of the facility.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote quality patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
• Provide mentorship and training to nursing staff.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas RN License.
• Valid CPR Certification.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related healthcare program.
• Must possess knowledge of long-term care operational standards as set forth in the Federal Register, Conditions of Participation and State regulations.
