Caters to no particular individual(s) yet pledges relief to impaired or deprived individuals who are in need of musical, visual, comedic, and-or any alternative forms of liberation-through fine art & entertainment. The Donovan's Venom INC. Gives its resources to individuals who don't have the means or access.

We are passionate about ensuring that everyone, regardless of financial circumstances, has access to high-quality music education, performance opportunities, and fine art. We aim to inspire, empower, and uplift communities by fostering a love for music and the arts through our commitment to education, inclusivity, diversity, and social impact.

About the Role

We're looking for a Director of Membership to build and grow an engaged community of members, volunteers, supporters, and advocates. This leader will develop strategies that increase membership, strengthen retention, and create meaningful experiences that connect people to our mission.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the organization's membership growth strategy
  • Create programs that attract, engage, and retain members
  • Build member onboarding, communications, and engagement processes
  • Track membership metrics including growth, retention, participation, and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with Marketing to promote membership opportunities and campaigns
  • Partner with Community Partnerships to create member benefits and networking opportunities
  • Work with Technology to improve membership systems and reporting
  • Coordinate volunteer engagement and member recognition initiatives
  • Collect member feedback and continuously improve the membership experience
  • Present membership performance updates and recommendations to executive leadership

Qualifications

  • Experience in membership management, community engagement, customer success, nonprofit leadership, or program management
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Experience creating engagement strategies and member experiences
  • Ability to analyze membership data and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Experience managing cross-functional initiatives
  • Passion for community building and mission-driven organizations
  • Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
