SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify new business opportunities that lead to membership acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Develop new relationships to grow business and help the Chamber expand.
- Represent the organization at various events and activities across Fayette County and Metro Atlanta region.
QUALIFICATIONS
- College degree is preferred with at least five years’ experience in Sales/Marketing, Business Development, Fundraising and/or Client Management.
- Previous Chamber of Commerce, Association or Not-for-profit development experience preferred but not required.
- Self-directed and results oriented; exceptional organizational skills to manage competing projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development and fundraising strategies
- Focused and goal oriented.
- Must provide own vehicle for local travel.
- Must be available to work early mornings and evenings with occasional weekends.
SCHEDULE
Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM with occasional meetings or events before or after hours.

Fayette Chamber, 600 West Lanier, Suite 205, Fayetteville, GA 30214
PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS
Tasks involve the ability to exert very moderate physical effort in light work, typically involving stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, and which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of moderate weight (up to 30 pounds).
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Competitive Salary – Base plus commission with bonus opportunities.
