Director of Medicaid Managed Care

Pediatric Dental Anesthesia Associates (PDAA) is seeking an experienced Director of Medicaid Managed Care to help expand our participation with Medicaid Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) across multiple states. PDAA is a national leader in providing pediatric anesthesia services in pediatric dental offices. We are looking for a knowledgeable and well-connected professional who can help us identify, pursue, negotiate, and secure Medicaid MCO contracts that expand access to our services for children who need them. What You’ll Do Identify Medicaid MCOs and health plans that are appropriate for PDAA’s servicesDevelop and execute a strategy for obtaining MCO contractsIdentify key decision-makers within Medicaid health plansInitiate and manage payer contracting discussionsAssist with provider enrollment, credentialing, and contracting requirementsSupport reimbursement and rate negotiationsNavigate state-specific Medicaid managed care requirementsDevelop relationships with MCO contracting, network development, and provider relations teamsTrack contracting opportunities, applications, negotiations, and outcomesAdvise PDAA leadership on Medicaid payer strategy and market opportunitiesRevenue Cycle Oversight Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone with demonstrated success in Medicaid managed care contracting, preferably with experience in healthcare provider organizations, physician groups, anesthesia, dental, or other specialty healthcare services. The ideal partner will have: Established relationships with Medicaid MCOs and health plansStrong knowledge of Medicaid managed care contractingExperience negotiating provider agreements and reimbursement ratesKnowledge of Medicaid requirements across multiple statesExcellent communication and negotiation skillsA proven ability to move opportunities from initial contact to executed contractA results-oriented, entrepreneurial approach Experience working with multiple Medicaid MCOs across multiple states is highly preferred. Engagement PDAA is open to working with an individual consultant, independent contractor, or established healthcare contracting firm. Compensation structure can be discussed based on experience, scope of work, and level of involvement.
