Director of Managed Care

Responsibilities

• Manage short- and long-term strategic planning and execution for healthcare programs
• Review and analyze contracts for financial impact and utilization efficiency
• Negotiate contracts with managed care organizations and third-party payors
• Present contract proposals and conduct market analyses for internal stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with managed care requirements and credentialing processes
• Develop and implement regional marketing strategies to enhance growth and profitability
• Monitor work activities and provide regular updates to management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Health Management; advanced degree preferred
• 6-8 years' experience in contract negotiation and operations in multi-site outpatient settings
• 3+ years in a managerial role, demonstrating departmental management capabilities
• Proficient in database management and analytical reporting
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications and related business computer systems
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

$120,000 – $150,000 annually
