About the Role

This position is responsible for the execution and performance of branded marketing programs, digital and social media presence, special events, entertainment, and Asian marketing initiatives, aiming to establish Live! Casino & Hotel as the premier gaming destination in the mid-Atlantic region.

Responsibilities

  • Directs the efforts of the advertising agency to create and maintain brand standards and develop creative campaigns to attract new business.
  • Creates programs and campaigns to increase gaming revenue and non-gaming revenue derived from the sales of the event center, entertainment, and food and beverage products.
  • Oversees digital and social efforts to ensure positive brand perception and a strong presence on social networking sites.
  • Provides open and complete communications with operations, finance, and all other departments.
  • Leads the development and growth of the marketing department team members.
  • Develops and manages the budget for advertising, social media, special events, entertainment, and Asian marketing.
  • Leads Live! Casino & Hotel’s effort in establishing it as a community leader.
  • Develops and trains staff, interviews for new hires, and performs performance evaluations of direct reports, ensuring timely and effective evaluations for the marketing department.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited Institution in a business-related field (e.g., Marketing, Finance, Business) or equivalent experience required; MBA is preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license as determined by the State Gaming Control Agency for the position.
  • Seven to ten years’ experience in operating Consumer Marketing programs in a high-volume hospitality environment, including conceptualizing, producing, and executing these types of programs.
  • High degree of computer literacy with in-depth knowledge of PC and Mid-Range system applications.
  • Outstanding communications and presentation skills.
  • Ability to quickly analyze problems and present solutions in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong multi-tasking ability.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work extended hours across all shifts in a 24/7 work environment.
