Director of Marketing - Functional Foods

About the role

The Director of Marketing will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Melaleuca's VFL – Functional Foods and Healthy Snacking category. This position requires a strong leader with experience in consumer packaged goods, particularly in health and wellness, sports nutrition, and multi-channel marketing.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to achieving revenue and profit goals by developing and implementing a cohesive marketing strategy for Melaleuca’s food-related products.
• Manage brand creation throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring global consistency in brand positioning, story, pricing, and launch strategies.
• Partner cross-functionally with sales, finance, operations, R&D, market research, and other departments to support strategic goals.
• Prepare and present marketing plans, business forecasts, and other initiatives to drive business results.
• Develop and manage marketing team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in CPG Brand Management, particularly in health and wellness, sports nutrition, and multi-channel marketing.
• Strong leadership skills, including adaptability, team building, and open communication.
• Experience influencing and working with resources across cross-functional departments, including R&D, Sales, Creative Services, Operations, and Finance.
• At least 8+ years of progressive marketing experience in consumer packaged goods, with a deep understanding of healthy snacking and functional foods.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to relocate to Idaho Falls, ID.
