Director of Marketing

About the Role

As our Director of Marketing, you'll lead the development and execution of an enterprise-wide marketing strategy that supports our wholesale distribution business and specialty pharmacy operations. You'll oversee a talented creative and marketing team while partner closely with executive leadership, sales, business development, category management, analytics, customer service, and strategic partners to accelerate growth. This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll have the opportunity to shape our brand, influence company strategy, and directly contribute to increasing market share.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive 12-24 month marketing strategy aligned with company growth and revenue objectives.
• Build integrated marketing campaigns that generate leads, increase customer engagement, and strengthen customer loyalty.
• Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure marketing initiatives support strategic business priorities.
• Lead digital marketing initiatives including SEO, SEM, email marketing, paid media, social media, content marketing, and website optimization.
• Analyze market trends, customer behavior, competitive intelligence, and emerging AI-powered marketing technologies to identify growth opportunities.
• Serve as the steward of our corporate brand, ensuring consistent messaging and visual identity across all business units and customer touchpoints.
• Oversee the creation of compelling marketing content including campaigns, newsletters, blogs, social media, sales collateral, presentations, and digital communications.
• Develop, manage, and optimize the annual marketing budget while measuring campaign effectiveness and reporting ROI to executive leadership.
• Establish marketing metrics, dashboards, and performance analytics to guide strategic decisions.
• Continuously improve marketing processes, workflows, and technologies to maximize efficiency and results.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of creative and marketing professionals while fostering innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure all marketing materials comply with trademark, copyright, intellectual property, and company brand standards.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Progressive experience in marketing, branding, business development, or sales.
• Experience leading marketing initiatives from strategy through execution.
• Strong leadership, communication, project management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written communication and copywriting abilities.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure marketing performance and ROI.

Preferred

• Experience leading marketing teams.
• Agency account management or advertising agency experience.
• Strong understanding of B2B marketing strategies.
• Experience supporting healthcare, pharmaceutical, wholesale distribution, or regulated industries.
• Experience utilizing AI and marketing automation platforms.
• Knowledge of current digital marketing trends, analytics platforms, CRM systems, and emerging marketing technologies.
