About UZURV

At UZURV, we believe that everyone has the right to get to the places they need and want to go, including work, school, shopping, connecting with friends and family, attending worship services, or just a night out. Many people are able to drive, take public transit, or use a rideshare or taxicab, but about 25% of Americans (and especially older adults and people with disabilities) need assistance for getting out and about. We call it assisted mobility, and that’s what UZURV exists to deliver.

UZURV is a high-growth company that utilizes a technology platform to connect drivers, operating their own vehicles and providers operating wheelchair-accessible vehicles, with older adults and people with disabilities who need assisted mobility in order to get out and about within their communities. Since our founding in Richmond, VA, in 2017, we have grown into a leading national assisted mobility provider by partnering with public transit agencies. Today, we are operating in more than thirty communities across eighteen states and the District of Columbia, and in half of the twenty largest transit agencies in the country. Better still, we are helping meet the transportation needs of millions of riders each year. And it’s not by accident. UZURV has grown because of the quality of our service. Riders, drivers, and employees give us high marks for our organizational culture, and for the quality and timeliness of our service. Additionally, our state-of-the-art technology enables us to provide an exceptional product at a cost significantly lower than the costs that our clients typically pay for the types of transportation services that we provide.

About the Role

The Director of B2B Marketing owns our enterprise demand generation and customer acquisition strategy and execution. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, you will be responsible for how our marketing engages, wins, and grows business with clients — including public transit agencies, healthcare systems, community organizations, and non-profits. This is an opportunity to step in and build a high-performing B2B and Enterprise marketing function. As the strategic lead, you will have the mandate to shape the function’s direction, establish core processes, and ultimately develop and mentor a new team. You will be responsible for defining our vertical messaging frameworks, creating a targeted customer acquisition engine, and equipping our Business Development team with high-impact sales enablement tools to drive revenue and deepen our presence in existing markets. Collaborating closely with cross-functional leaders, you will also ensure our marketing supports clients throughout their entire lifecycle — helping us not only acquire new accounts, but successfully retain and expand them over time.

Responsibilities

  • Demand Generation & Customer Acquisition
    • Build and execute demand generation and customer acquisition strategies across digital, lifecycle, account-based, and content marketing.
    • Develop campaigns that build a scalable source of marketing-qualified pipeline, focusing on sales-ready opportunities over raw lead volume.
    • Drive high-touch ABM programs to penetrate and expand priority accounts across verticals and audiences.
    • Create content (reports, white papers, and guides) to advance industry authority, educate prospects, and nurture accounts through long sales cycles.
    • Own our paid acquisition strategy across channels (like LinkedIn) and emerging platforms to capture new interest.
    • Support industry events and conferences by producing collateral and promotional assets that capture on-site interest.
  • Sales Alignment & Client Lifecycle
    • Develop tailored positioning, messaging frameworks, and competitive differentiation for our target markets.
    • Partner closely with Business Development to map out account contact lists and coordinate the marketing campaigns required to turn leads into closed deals.
    • Collaborate with our Client Strategy team to translate positive client outcomes into case studies, references, and proof points that accelerate sales and support account expansion.
    • Support the development of sales enablement tools, collateral, and training to ensure our messaging is executed effectively.
  • Marketing Systems & Reporting
    • Establish repeatable marketing systems and processes that can scale as the business grows.
    • Work with Marketing Ops to define clear performance benchmarks, testing, and reporting to demonstrate business outcomes.
  • Management & Leadership
    • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team, acting as a collaborative leader who supports professional growth, offers clear feedback, and helps the team navigate daily roadblocks.
    • Champion an "accessibility-first" mindset, ensuring that everything we create is inclusive and lives up to UZURV’s core mission.

Requirements

  • You hold a 4-year college degree or possess equivalent hands-on professional experience.
  • You have 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing leadership, with a proven track record of designing and executing multi-channel campaigns that drive high-quality pipeline.
  • Experience navigating long, complex enterprise sales cycles is highly preferred.
  • You excel at turning market challenges into clear, comprehensive marketing plans and programs.
  • You use data to evaluate campaign success and continually optimize for outcomes.
  • You have a demonstrated track record of leading and developing talent, fostering a resilient and supportive team environment.
  • You are a skilled communicator who enjoys partnering across teams to ensure our program execution is always tied to broader business and marketing goals.
  • You are comfortable with marketing automation, CRM, and project management tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, and Monday.com.
  • You possess a genuine passion for UZURV’s mission and are motivated by the opportunity to execute marketing that makes a real-world impact.

Benefits

  • 401(k) with company match
  • Comprehensive healthcare benefits
  • Generous PTO and paid holidays
  • A collaborative, team-based work environment
  • A mission-driven culture where your work has real impact
