We are looking for a strategic and hands-on marketing leader to guide brand growth and lead generation efforts for our client in Southfield, Michigan. This role will shape multi-channel marketing programs, strengthen community and client relationships, and use performance data to improve web and lead conversion results. The ideal candidate is local to Southfield and brings strong consumer-facing marketing experience, digital expertise, and the ability to lead both people and external partners while staying closely involved in execution.
Responsibilities
- Design and lead marketing initiatives that increase lead volume through former-client outreach, referral development, and database-driven campaigns.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholders and local organizations to expand visibility and support community engagement efforts.
- Direct digital marketing programs across paid search, local service advertising, business profile optimization, content creation, social media, streaming media, and other online channels.
- Oversee outside agencies and media or production partners, set clear performance expectations, and evaluate results to ensure strong return on investment.
- Coach and support a small marketing team, providing direction, feedback, and development opportunities that strengthen day-to-day execution.
- Analyze lead and campaign performance using platforms such as HubSpot and Google Analytics to improve attribution and inform future decisions.
- Partner with leadership to create marketing strategy, translate business goals into actionable plans, and contribute practical insight during planning discussions.
- Stay actively involved in campaign execution, ensuring strategic priorities are carried through to launch, optimization, and reporting.
Requirements
- 5+ years of marketing experience, including leadership responsibility in a highly regulated industry like healthcare, legal/law, or financial services.
- Demonstrated success building lead generation programs that produce measurable business growth.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, including paid advertising, local search visibility, content strategy, and social media.
- Ability to interpret campaign metrics and connect marketing performance to revenue, lead quality, and broader business outcomes.
- Experience managing agencies, vendors, or external marketing partners while maintaining accountability for results.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team with clear communication and collaborative working style.
- Background in legal marketing is preferred, though candidates with strong B2C marketing experience will also be considered.
- Comfortable balancing strategic planning with direct involvement in campaign execution and operational support.
