Director of Marketing
About the role
The Director of Marketing is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for building and scaling a national brand presence while developing and leading a high-performing in-house marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
Build, mentor, and lead a team of Marketing and Media Coordinators, fostering accountability, creativity, and growth
Establish clear goals, workflows, and performance standards across the marketing function
Lead through organizational growth and change with a focus on scalability and team development
Create a collaborative, high-energy culture aligned with company values
Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy focused on building a strong, recognizable national brand
Elevate the company’s market presence through innovative campaigns, storytelling, and content
Oversee all video production, photography, and digital content initiatives (social media, YouTube, campaigns)
Guide the creation of high-impact visual and written content aligned with brand standards
Optimize workflows, checklists, and systems to support scalability and operational efficiency
Partner closely with Recruiting, HR, and Sales leadership
Own and evolve the company’s social media strategy and digital presence
Drive engagement, audience growth, and brand awareness through strategic content distribution
Leverage analytics and insights to continuously improve performance
Oversee execution of events, webinars, and trade shows that support brand visibility and business growth
Ensure consistent marketing and media support for loan officers and internal teams
Qualifications
5+ years of progressive marketing experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role
Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing marketing teams
Strong experience building and scaling a brand (regional or national level preferred)
Expertise in content strategy, digital marketing, and brand management
Experience leading through growth, change, and organizational scaling
Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills
Preferred Experience
Experience in mortgage, financial services, real estate, or a related industry
Hands-on experience with video or content production environments
Technical Skills: Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, etc.), Canva and other design tools, Social media platforms and publishing tools (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.), Marketing analytics and reporting tools, Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
