About the role
As the Director of Land Acquisition, your contribution to providing an adequate supply of land is critical…it all starts with the land. You'll have exposure and partner with key senior leaders as you present land deals you believe in. This is the first step in directly driving our Company's growth.
Responsibilities
- Identify acquisition opportunities through contacts with brokers, builders, bankers, landowners, engineers, planners, attorneys, municipal officials, and in-house contacts
- Provide an adequate supply of land to fulfill the business unit's production needs on an ongoing basis
- Participate with the business unit president in the budgeting process to determine land requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of land acquisition experience in progressively responsible positions; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to prepare, interpret and present various financial analyses, as well as statistical market analyses
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication skills
- Must maintain a valid driver's license
Pay
Annual salary of $162,000 - $177,000 with eligibility for bonuses.
