Director of IP Operations

Responsibilities

• Review and improve processes supporting Patent, Trademark, and Copyright practices
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in patent docketing processes
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance workflow efficiency
• Oversee the operation of IP management systems and tools
• Coach direct report managers to promote high-quality client service
• Manage billing structures and make recommendations for improvement
• Deliver training on practices, policies, and procedures for new hires

Qualifications

• 10+ years of direct IP experience, with 5+ years at a senior management level in a professional services firm
• Strong project management skills and experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, iManage, and other firm applications after orientation
• Experience managing and mentoring teams across functions
• Able to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions
