Director of Infrastructure

We are on the hunt for a dynamic and forward-thinking Director of Infrastructure to join our IT team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take the helm of our infrastructure operations, leading a team of talented engineers and ensuring the smooth running of our networks, systems, and security.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership in the development and implementation of infrastructure services.
• Oversee the design, deployment, and operation of network systems, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
• Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to protect company data and IT systems from threats.
• Manage and oversee the operation of our Silver Peak, Active Directory, Fortinet, and Fortigate systems.
• Lead and manage a team of infrastructure engineers, providing training, guidance, and support as necessary.
• Collaborate with other department heads to align infrastructure strategy with business goals and objectives.
• Maintain and troubleshoot system performance, addressing issues as they arise.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, implementing changes as necessary.
• Develop and manage the infrastructure budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value for money.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, implementing changes as necessary to ensure the company remains competitive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 10 years' experience in infrastructure, and at least 5 in leadership.
• Proven experience with Silver Peak, Active Directory, Fortinet, and Fortigate.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, system security, and data management.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to align infrastructure strategy with business goals and objectives.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
• Continual learner, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
