About the role
Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business, or another related field. Related experience may be substituted for the education requirement.
Responsibilities
- Human resource generalist experience including benefits administration and HR management
- Completion of courses and certifications (SHRM and/or HRCI) related to human resources management
- Professional designation (aPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP or CEBS) or coursework may be substituted for experience requirement
- Knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements
- Knowledge of salary administration
- Knowledge of benefits administration
- Knowledge of employment law
- Ability to interpret policy, review precedent and provide recommendation for action to President and CEO
Requirements
- Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification (SPHR)
- Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)
- Four (4) or more years of human resources experience in an electric utility/telecommunications company
Qualifications
Preferred for the applicant to have a Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification (SPHR) and/or Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and to have four (4) or more years of human resources experience in an electric utility/telecommunications company.
