What You'll Do
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement people strategies that support a high-performing, values-driven culture.
- Lead and manage day-to-day HR operations across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
- Design and implement HR programs, policies and procedures aligned with organizational goals.
- Drive talent strategies including workforce planning, recruitment, and retention.
- Coach and advise managers at all levels to strengthen leadership capability and ensure equitable people practices.
- Lead learning and development initiatives to build staff and leadership capacity.
- Develop and implement employee engagement and retention strategies.
- Oversee employee relations, providing expert guidance and ensuring fair, timely, and consistent resolution of workplace issues.
- Lead performance management processes that promote accountability, feedback, and professional growth.
- Oversee compensation, benefits, and HR systems to ensure competitiveness, equity, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Manage the HR budget and resources with a focus on impact and efficiency.
- Lead and empower the HR team through effective management and professional development.
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (Master's preferred)
- SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience (nonprofit experience preferred)
- Demonstrated success developing and executing HR strategies aligned with organizational priorities
- Strong expertise in employee relations, talent management, and organizational development
- Ability to build trust and partner effectively with leaders and staff at all levels
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and consultative skills
- High level of discretion and sound judgment with confidential matters
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS and ATS preferred
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed
- Commitment to the mission and values of Girl Scouting, including adherence to the Girl Scout Promise and Law
Hiring Salary Range
$115,000 - $130,000
