Responsibilities
- Lead recruitment strategy and hiring for a manufacturing workforce
- Manage employee relations, performance management, and workplace concerns
- Guide disciplinary actions and ensure fair, consistent practices
- Identify training needs and implement development programs
- Oversee compensation and benefits administration
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and regulations
- Maintain HR documentation, reporting, and HRIS accuracy
- Lead and support the HR team, setting clear priorities and direction
- Serve as a trusted HR partner to plant and operational leadership
Requirements
- 7+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment (required)
- Proven experience handling employee relations and compliance issues
- SHRM or PHR certification (required)
- Strong HRIS experience
- Ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
- Confident, practical leadership style — comfortable making decisions
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Comfortable working on-site in an operational setting
