About The Role

Seeking a versatile and strategic Director of Human Resources to lead the HR function as a true player-coach. This role requires balancing high-level organizational strategy with hands-on tactical execution while collaborating closely with the executive leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning, succession planning, organizational design, and career pathing.
• Oversee full-lifecycle talent management, employee relations, performance management, and compliance initiatives.
• Drive learning and development strategies, including building leadership development programs and facilitating coaching.
• Manage compensation structures, payroll processes, and administrative HR duties alongside strategic oversight.
• Supervise and mentor internal HR personnel, including an HR Business Partner and an Administrative Assistant.
• Maintain rigorous documentation practices and oversee vendor relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree strongly preferred (SHRM certification considered a plus).
• 5 to 7+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with a required background in smaller organizations or lean HR teams.
• Hands-on operational mindset with strong documentation habits.
• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and Microsoft Office (including Copilot).
• Professional demeanor suited for a conservative executive environment requiring business attire.

Pay

Base salary target midpoint of $150,000 (placement based on experience and upward potential) + quarterly bonus.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
