About the role
Join the TrustPoint Hospital Team as the Director of Housekeeping. Located in Murfreesboro, TN, TrustPoint is a state-of-the-art hospital offering rehabilitation services, medical psychiatry, and inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services.
Responsibilities
- Develop a cleaning schedule and provide adequate staff coverage.
- Maintain a safe, functional, and supportive environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Manage safety, security, maintenance, facilities, materials, and housekeeping.
- Meet the operational needs of the departments under direct supervision.
- Operate within established fiscal guidelines, inspect and evaluate the physical condition of the facility.
- Manage staff including hiring, development, training, performance management, and communication.
- Coordinate, develop, and participate in facility-wide safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, accreditation, or corporate standards, codes, laws, or regulations.
- Establish and oversee training to meet quality standards within departments under direct supervision.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical training or Associate's degree preferred.
- Four or more years' experience in environmental safety, plant operations, or similar environments required.
- One or more years' supervisory experience required.
- Valid state driver's license, where required in a facility.
- CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire).
