Director of Girl Experience

About the role

The Director reports to the Vice President of Mission Delivery and provides strategic leadership for the Council's girl program portfolio and the overall quality, reach, participation, and impact of experiences offered to girls. As part of program execution, the Director ensures that team members remain energetic and inspired, revenue goals are met, and programs meet or exceed established outcomes to build girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place.

The Girl Scout Leadership Experience is the heart of what we do: a collection of engaging, challenging and fun activities such as earning badges, going on awesome trips, selling cookies, exploring science, getting outdoors, and doing community service projects.

Responsibilities

• Direct all facets of Girl Experience curriculum development and program delivery to meet participation, profitability, and membership retention goals (including local partnerships, managing logistics, setting expectations ahead of programs, and measuring outcomes upon completion).
• Work closely with other Directors for staffing and planning purposes.
• Ensure team members remain energetic and inspired.
• Meet revenue goals.
• Ensure programs meet or exceed established outcomes.
• Direct a team responsible for planning high-quality educational programs that meet budget goals (virtual, in‑person, or hybrid).
