Responsibilities
- Manage and cultivate a portfolio of approximately 150 active donors and 40 corporate prospects with a budget of $500K to $1M annually.
- Create and execute strategies for the Annual Appeal, including spring and fall solicitations.
- Educate residents and supporters about Legacy giving opportunities.
- Assist the Executive Director in cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors capable of leadership and transformational gifts.
- Manage the annual golf outing, donor appreciation events, and timely donor acknowledgement and recognition.
- Supply information for Annual Report on all fundraising activities.
- Participate in Development Committee meetings.
- Maintain database to track residents, record all donations, and process memorial gifts.
Requirements
- Four-year college degree.
- 3-5 years of progressive fundraising experience required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with donors, residents, Board members, and community partners.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience with Sage 50/Abila or equivalent development software is a plus.
- Previous nonprofit fundraising or development experience preferred.

Schedule
Typical schedule is within Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend Manager-on-Duty rotation, with flexibility based on organizational needs.
Pay
$56,576.00 to $65,000.00 annually.
