About the role
The Food & Beverage Director leads and oversees all F&B outlets, banquet operations, and in-room dining at both Hotel Citrine and AC Hotel Palo Alto. This role is an Executive Committee Member.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all F&B outlets, banquet operations, and in-room dining at both properties
- Manage financial performance, forecasting, and budget adherence across departments
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team—recruiting top talent and creating future leaders
- Drive service excellence through hands-on leadership and daily pre-shift alignment
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Culinary teams to enhance programming and events
- Ensure all operations meet luxury service standards, health codes, and safety guidelines
- Champion guest satisfaction by creating seamless, engaging, and memorable dining experiences
- Be the face of our restaurants, building relationships with guests, vendors, and the community
Qualifications
- Experience leading F&B operations in luxury hotels
- Proven track record in managing budgets and financial performance
- Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor and develop teams
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of health codes and safety guidelines
- Ability to build strong relationships with guests, vendors, and the community
