About the role
The Director of Food & Beverage will lead and develop a team of department managers and seasonal leaders, overseeing all food and beverage operations including restaurants, bars, catering, and special events. Reporting to the General Manager, this leader will drive operational excellence, develop high-performing managers, achieve financial objectives, and contribute to the resort's long-term strategic vision.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of department managers and seasonal leaders.
- Oversee all food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, catering, and special events.
- Drive financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and cost controls.
- Elevate the guest experience through exceptional service, quality, and operational consistency.
- Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning, capital projects, and resort-wide initiatives.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Seven or more years of progressive food and beverage leadership experience.
- Experience leading multiple outlets in a resort, hotel, or destination hospitality environment.
- Strong financial and business acumen with demonstrated success managing departmental performance.
- Proven ability to develop leaders, build engaged teams, and drive operational excellence.
- A collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Seven or more years of progressive food and beverage leadership experience.
