Director of Finance North America - Cumming, GA
Responsibilities
Lead all financial activities for Kamstrup Water Metering, L.L.C. (U.S.) and Kamstrup Metering Solutions Canada Inc.
Oversee accounting, financial planning, budgeting, analysis, internal controls, and regulatory compliance for the North American region.
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, DK GAAP, tax regulations, transfer pricing policies, and internal controls.
Prepare DK GAAP-compliant statutory reporting and financial compliance filings required by Group Finance in Denmark, using IFS and VIS software.
Align regional and global financial strategies with Group Finance leadership in Denmark.
Develop a Finance team, ensuring the right competencies are in place to support the growth strategy of Kamstrup.
Drive cost control, margin analysis, and financial oversight for projects, tenders, and supply chain activities.
Set the strategic financial direction for the North American region and act as a key business partner to executive leadership.
Requirements
Must have a Bachelor's Degree (or its foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Must have 7+ years of financial management and strategic planning experience, including strong working knowledge of DK GAAP, internal controls, audit procedures, and financial compliance requirements.
Must have working knowledge of US GAAP, and US Reporting.
Must have experience working within a multinational company or other international business environment.
Must have prior auditing experience with a major international public accounting firm.
Must have experience with manufacturing companies.
Must include strong working knowledge within tax regulations and tax calculations and compliance with Transfer Pricing policies.
Must have experience preparing DK GAAP–compliant group reporting deliverables, including consolidation packages, monthly financial submissions, annual statutory reporting schedules, audit-support documentation, and Danish tax-related reporting.
Must have 7+ years of direct people management experience, including development of a finance team to support growth strategy.
International travel (10%) required as assigned by employer; 5% domestic travel to U.S. client sites.
