Responsibilities
- Train, manage and develop Superintendents to create best in class team.
- Oversee construction activity of projects with onsite presence as often and for as long as required by the project conditions and expectations.
- Provide weekly financial, critical path schedule and project quality updates to the VP for all active projects.
- Lead weekly Site Superintendent meetings.
- Oversee and manage all site safety, organization, quality of work and subcontractor relationships.
- Provide performance feedback to Superintendents on a regular basis and address and document any performance deficiencies right away.
- Support the PM team during the Pre-construction period to ensure the start date is met and the site is set up in a safe and productive manner.
- Oversee and support the PM teams during the Construction period including but not limited to the following:
- Oversee and support RFI’s, Submittals & Project Milestones as required.
- Review and approve PCCOs, SCOs & direct costs, Support communication with the project team, design team and subcontractors.
- Review PM weekly project reports (External & Internal) & updated project schedule.
- Attend weekly OAC meetings as required.
- Review 3 week look ahead with Site Superintendens.
- Review and approve final submission of project Payment Applications & subcontractor payments.
- Review the PM Project portfolio financial update.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of Project Manager experience in Retail fit-out construction with a General Contractor (preferred).
- Minimum of five (5) years of Site Superintendent experience in Retail fit-out construction with a General Contractor (preferred).
- Minimum of five (5) years of Director or Project Executive experience in Retail fit-out construction with a General Contractor (required).
- Single story Retail ground-up experience (required).
- Proficient in reading and understanding Architectural, Structural, Civil and MEP plans (required).
- Proficient in email and vocal communication.
- Experience with Procore or a similar Project Management software (required).
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Project (required).
Pay
The expected salary range for this position is between $175,000 and $200,000. The actual compensation will be based on factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, market and business considerations and other factors permitted by law.
