Director of Family Office

This position will be based in Atlanta/hybrid (3 days at office and 2 days working from home).

Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Family Office Services program
- Own the end-to-end family experience, ensuring consistency, quality, and a high-touch service model
- Partner with the CFO to define priorities, track performance, and deliver measurable outcomes
- Build trusted relationships across a multi-generational shareholder base and serve as a primary point of contact for family members
- Support and enhance family governance engagement and participation
- Act as the central orchestrator between family members, internal teams, and the wealth advisor to ensure seamless service delivery
- Educate and guide family members on the wealth advisor’s services, fostering understanding and increasing engagement to maximize value for the family
- Translate complex financial and operational topics into clear, actionable insights for family members
- Manage the relationship with the wealth advisor, ensuring that performance expectations are met and service excellence is delivered
- Drive accountability and resolve issues to maintain a best-in-class experience
- Oversee critical processes including Shareholder Management System (SMS), dividends, and reporting
- Collaborate across Finance, IT, Legal, and other functions to ensure operational excellence
Required Qualifications
- 10–15 years of professional experience
- 5+ years in family office, wealth management, or financial services
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals or complex stakeholder groups
- Proven ability to operate in ambiguous, high-discretion environments
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into execution
- Strong financial acumen and comfort navigating wealth-related topics
- Exceptional relationship management and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional programs and external partners
- High level of discretion and judgment
