About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the university's IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation of all systems and services.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the university’s network infrastructure, including servers, switches, and routers.
• Provide technical support to faculty, staff, and students regarding software installations and troubleshooting.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for data security and backup.
• Perform regular system audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate new technologies and improve overall efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in IT management or a similar field.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and cloud computing platforms.
• Experience with network administration, server management, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and network monitoring tools.
