Director of Facilities

The Children’s Guild is seeking a Director of Facilities, Infrastructure & Capital Projects based at our headquarters in Baltimore, MD. Work location flexibility is available based on organizational and project needs.

About the Role

This is a strategic, multi-site leadership opportunity encompassing:

• Facilities and infrastructure planning
• Capital budgets and forecasting
• Construction and renovation projects
• Commercial/property operations
• Preventative maintenance strategy
• Building systems and lifecycle planning
• Vendor and contractor partnerships
• Compliance, safety, and risk management
• Team leadership and service delivery

We are especially interested in experienced leaders from facilities management, commercial real estate/property management, construction management, infrastructure, and capital projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Project management and budgeting experience
• Relevant professional certifications, licenses, credentials, and specialized training (considered and valued)

You will not simply be managing buildings—you will help create safe, reliable spaces where children can learn, teams can serve, and programs can grow.
