Director of Facilities

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Regional Facility Managers
• Develop and manage the maintenance training curriculum
• Design and implement preventative maintenance program for all properties
• Work with vendors, regional managers and lead maintenance technicians to identify cost saving opportunities with vendors
• Negotiate and manage annual schedule of items to reduce long term costs
• Assist and review scope of work for Capex items
• Aid Regional Managers with troubleshooting larger maintenance issues
• Recruit, interview, and onboard maintenance technicians
• Inspect properties
• Develop monthly Safety meetings

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Prior experience as a Regional Maintenance Director in the multifamily industry
• Must have previous experience creating company-wide SOPs and training
• EPA or HVAC Certification
• CPO certification preferred
• Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management, Adobe, Yardi
