Director of Environmental Services

About the role

The Village at Summerville is a "Life Plan Community" dedicated to serving senior adults for 60 years. The Director of Environmental Services oversees environmental services to ensure compliance with DHEC standards and provides leadership and supervision to housekeeping/laundry specialists and floor techs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality control of environmental services to ensure continual operations in compliance with DHEC standards
• Provide leadership, direction, and supervision to housekeeping/laundry specialists and floor techs
• Assist the Executive Director in preparing department operating and capital budgets
• Maintain relations with private contractors and service agencies
• Cookordination community moves with Maintenance department, residents, and/or their families
• Assist residents with specific needs upon request

Requirements

• A minimum of three years of related supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of DHEC regulations
• Intermediate computer skills
• A high school diploma
• Prior to an Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field and five years of supervisory experience in long-term care field preferred
