About the Role

As the Director of Education at our campus, you will manage and lead the campus education team, overseeing the delivery of quality educational programs and developing effective academic strategies to meet student retention and completion goals.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, accreditor standards, and institutional policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and manage faculty members and staff by providing day-to-day performance coaching and monthly advisements.
  • Recruit, train, and develop faculty members and staff.
  • Conduct classroom observations on a regular basis.
  • Work with faculty members to perform curriculum reviews to improve the quality of instruction.
  • Prepare class schedules to optimize class size for an effective student learning experience.
  • Ensure all students are advised regularly regarding their progress.
  • Advise, coach, and monitor students at risk of violating attendance or academic progress policies.
  • Administer student surveys, ensure their timely review, and prepare action plans to address concerns and feedback.
  • Monitor campus-level metrics related to retention, attendance, and completion outcomes to meet campus and organizational objectives.
  • Manage the Education department budget, including staff, faculty, and resource allocation to meet critical targets and goals in student retention, completion, and Active Earning Population.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Your Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years of combined management, teaching, and education administration experience.
  • Teaching and Curriculum Development: Comprehensive understanding of student needs in a post-secondary environment. Proven track record of effective teaching, curriculum development, and education administration.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • Modern Workforce Skills: Proficiency in computer skills, including the Microsoft Office platform and other daily-use software.
  • Management: Proven self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who can build and lead a great team.
