Responsibilities

• Assisting the Registered Dietitian in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the daily operations of the Dietary Department
• Ensuring nutritional services are provided in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary food service environment
• Supervising dietary staff and supporting efficient department operations
• Assisting with menu planning, food management, diet therapy, and cost control initiatives
• Promoting quality resident care through safe and effective nutritional services

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate of an accredited dietetic training program approved by the American Dietetic Association
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other healthcare setting
• Training and experience in cost control, food management, and diet therapy
• Current Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Registered Dietitian (RD) credential as required by state regulations
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
